Private carriers gain from global access
International bilaterals have become a cause of dispute between the government and private carriers. Recently, IndiGo promoter Rahul Bhatia accused the civil aviation ministry of holding on to international routes. The ministry clarified that all traffic route requests "have been dealt objectively in a fair manner".
