This is a short interview I recently did at an industry conference with David Joyce, vice president and general manager of General Electric's commercial engine operations. He talks about why GE does not want to develop a new engine for the A350-1000 that Airbus says will be aimed directly at the 777-300ER, which GE has the exclusive engine contract for.
